The Jim Seymour Band was on hand to get the hips groovin’ and even Jim L. and I got together to make up a little noise! With Good people, good drinks, and good times all around, This was definately one that will be talked about til we do it again! Poor Rusty never made it cause’ he had to go and get into a car accident! He’s cool thought, so don’t freak. Besides, it was a company car!

“Take me out to the Ballgame!”
by Rico on Aug.24, 2005, under Uncategorized
So, I went to the Nationals game last night with a friend. It was a blast! The weather was nice. The food was good (surprisingly). And, Ken Griffey Jr. didn’t get a hit. The best part is, of course, the 7th inning stretch (yes, people actually get up and stretch!). Sucks cause the Nats lost 6-2. I took some pics so check em’ out!

Race Results… …Personal Milestones!
by Rico on Aug.15, 2005, under Uncategorized
Well as some of you know, today (Aug. 14th, 2005) was a very hot day here in Maryland. My team (Capital Racing) and I had a skating race today. The heat index passed 100 degrees outside. The race was a 26 mile marathon. Those who know me and know how I skate probably know that this is NOT my kind of skating. But, with lots of heat management and energy conservation, I completed the marathon. And, yes you guessed it. I was the last to finish. I spent 2:43:19 secs. on the course. That was a lot of time to think about things in my life and I am appreciative for the experience. After suffering heat exhaustion, muscle cramps, one serious tan, among other things, I am getting back to feeling better. I am amazed at what people can do with the right motivation, even when they are not prepared for it at all. Personal Milestones…
