Yesterday is the day I waited two years for. Superman finally landed and he landed home! My son, who I nicknamed Taylor Bean, is spending the next few days with his papa. I can not put the camera down because everything this kid does is so adorable to me. It’s almost like we havn’t missed a day when we laugh together. I gotta go, but by all means check out the pictures of him in my gallery… –R

My sister and I were able to go see the Nationals take on the SF Giants. Our seats rocked! We were on the 9th row behind 1st base. Besides me getting to spend a great baseball evening with one of my two beautiful sisters, I think the greatest part is that by the end of the game she totally understood it. I highly recommend going to see at least one game! Nats won 2-0…

Yeah, so I was checking some stuff and came across JON’S ADMITTANCE!!! See, I went over to his place (I think it was 3 houses ago, he moves like the wind) and played him in Madden 06. After listening to the rantings of an over confident man, I won all three games. And, yes it was sweet!

Round 2:
With a bit of a confidence buzz about me, Jon is now the visitor in the house of Rico!! With my underarmor braclet on occacionally reminding me to “Protect This House”, we kick off. This time there is an audience. Basically, I got waxed in my own house by at least 35 points. As the gang high five Jon and I suffer in silence, I think he got the better end of the stick!

No doubt, the most adventurous and off the wall thing I have done this summer! We went White Water Rafting deep in the hills of West Virginia. The Upper Gaully, as they call it, is the 2nd best river to raft in our great country we call home. Second only to that small trickle of water called the Colorado! I now know what a Cat 5+ rapid is. It was without a doubt, the wildest water ride you can sign up for. Uh, somebody save Terri from drowning! Anyway, with the leadership and guidance of the astonishing Ms. Hanna, We all paddled 5 hours covering a distance of 12 miles and had a blast doing it. I have the video and it is a riot! I just have one thing to say… “Water tastes GOOOD!! Glub, Glub, Glub!!!” …you rock… …more to come…
