He WAS probably one of the greatest “one-liner” comedians I have ever heard. It is too bad that I found out about this guy about a year after he had died from a drug overdose in a New Jersey motel. Let this be a lesson to all you kids. Crack SERIOUSLY is Whack!! To throw away such talent over something as meaningless as drugs is far beyond my comprehension. I mean, true enough Mitch’s entire routine was based on comedy that can only be derived from being pretty heavily gone on a buffet of choice drugs. His material made the average socialite wonder “Where did he come up with that?”, and then think to themselves “But, he’s got a point!” There is after all no replacement for true talent and Mitch had a delivery like you wouldn’t believe. I have an hour long standup show of his on the Ipod. Whenever I want to laugh a little, I just scroll to the “M”s. It is still hilarious after having heard it 20 times. In memory, and because the guy was just so cool, I have added some of his stuff to my blog to be added to the archive of my system backups for as long as I choose to keep them.
